Andressa (yes, our very own and lovely Jack Kerouac) tagged me (in reply to my tagging her a couple of months ago about life) about my town, so I should say a couple of things about it : what I love, what I hate, what are the best and worst neighborhoods and what outsiders wouldn’t understand. I’m having a little trouble with this, mainly because my town is about 70 km² and holds about 31.000 locals, thus making it the center of space-time continuom boredom.
It’s a very small town, you can actually walk a lap around the town in around 20-30 minutes, so there are no places to love or to hate, there are no good or bad neighborhoods, there aren’t any defining characteristics to my town that once was a fishing village built during the communist regime.
Sorry I couldn’t fulfill your expectations, but my town isn’t Stars Hollow or Everwood, there isn’t a small and friendly community, there isn’t a great place to hang out at, there’s nothing worth mentioning about except the beach that’s 10minutes away from here (on foot).
I hope now you can understand why I want to break out of this world…
