Religious fanaticism

HUCKABEE: Well, I don’t think that’s a radical view to say we’re going to affirm marriage. I think the radical view is to say that we’re going to change the definition of marriage so that it can mean two men, two women, a man and three women, a man and a child, a man and animal. Again, once we change the definition, the door is open to change it again. I think the radical position is to make a change in what’s been historic.

Se pare ca homosexualitatea este sinonima cu bestialitatea si incestul in ochii crestinilor. Asa si avortul este o actiune oribila. Oare apoi va schimba si Emancipation Proclamation emisa de Lincoln in timpul Razboiul Civil? Ca doar ‘Biblia’ spune ca sclavia este ok. Va da si Ordonanta de Guvern spunand ca duminica este zi de relaxare si toti cei care muncesc atunci ar trebui sa fie ucisi? ‘Exodus 35:2 – Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.’

Astea doua vor face furori in mod special: ‘Leviticus 20, 9: For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.’ ‘Leviticus 20, 10: And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.’

Hai cu sefi de stat fanatici religios! Hai sa ne intoarcem la epocile primitive! 10 cruciade si n-am invatat absolut nimic despre libertatea credintei in religii diferite.

Asta in timp ce eu ma cert cu un preot din grupa mea (drept) care aseamana ateii cu nazismul si comunismul (iar pe Nietzsche l-a numit ‘un nebun al lumii’), desi cand l-am intrebat daca zeul lui si-a luat vacanta intre 1939 si 1945, a zis ca acele sase milioane de suflete evreiesti au murit deoarece nu se rugau indeajuns. Lumea asta-n care traim…

ps: nu sunt irational, inteleg ca traiesc intr-o lume imensa si exista milioane de pareri despre miliarde de lucruri, si sunt de acord cu asta, sa spui ca nu-ti place ceva sau nu vrei ceva deoarece nu se potriveste moralitatii tale, dar sa asculti orbeste de ‘biblie’ (si ma refer aici si la milioanele de romani care n-au citit o pagina din ‘biblie’ si n-au habar de ce se spune in ea, dar totusi urmeaza unele pasaje cu smerenie), ignorand orice alta opinie, in special cea istorica sau stiintifica, mi se pare nerozie.
