so you’re a Huddy man? :D I used to be (well, huddy-girl) in the early seasons, but the s06 finale felt a bit forced – like they were planning to do this all along but they skipped on the build-up… Still – I’m looking forward to season 7, but I hope House doesn’t go all schmoopy on us ;)
Anyways – Lorelai & Luke – that was perfect. I just realised how much I miss Gilmore, maybe I should start a re-watch… ;)
oh, yes, I’m a Huddy man, they’ve got amazing chemistry. it feels extremely forced, but that’s how it always is – look at Lor and Luke with the fight at the inn, Rory and Jess with the fight at the dance, Sam and Diane with the fight at the bar, Buffy and Spike with the fight that destroys the house, and even Ross and Rachel, with the fight at Perk. TV loves to wait it out until you think it’s never going to happen anymore, then have them fight and make up.
Ah, Gilmore Girls. Alongside MASH and the Sorkinisms, my favorite show of all time, which i’m constantly rewatching. You’d think the 16th time you hear Lor questioning the place for anvils today would get boring… but it doesn’t. The writing and the acting in the first three seasons is perfect, i mean seriously, nothing can ever top it, not even the soliloquy at the end of Two Cathedrals.
it’s a preview from Ausiello, the guy with all the news from tv shows, who had exclusive coverage of the end of GG. Last month, exec producer Katie Jacobs confirmed that House and Cuddy would finally make a go of a relationship next season. “This is real and something that they are going to try,” she said. “It’s something they stayed away from for a long period of time because it’s dangerous and the consequences could be severe. But now they’re going to give it a try.”
Ah yes, Gilmore never gets old. Neither does MASH. I wonder how some shows can retain their magic years after they’ve gone off the air….that’s some mad skills :D (OK, I’m watching Breaking Bad and it’s rubbing off on me;) ) And I definitely agree with your little list there – but I guess I was disappointed how the huddy happened: 5 minutes to ditch an inconvenient fiancee and rescue House from popping pills….I like to think we deserved more :P

Nice, thanks for the link, i didn’t have the time to search. I agree, we deserved more, but let’s just be happy we got it, even like this. We could have ended up like in Firefly with just an empty promise and “I don’t know”.
The magic… it’s all in the writing. If the writing is bad, there’s no saving it, not even with the best cast in the world – like The West Wing AFTER Sorkin left at the end of season four. It just went to constant crap. I couldn’t bear watching it, it was breaking my heart.
23. Brutally honest. Misanthrope, nihilist, hedonist. Lover of noir, giallo and wushu. Mad about Gilmore Girls, West Wing & The Wire, plus Sergio Leone, Quentin Tarantino & Groucho Marx. Living on AC/DC, Dream Theater, Sonic Youth, Helloween and Metallica.
