Cause and Effect

And thus another good tv show comes to an end (6×16). We’ve had our ups and downs, but the show remained interesting throughout. The relationship issues that bothered me along the way have since resolved themselves and now everyone is going to live happily ever after. After the bitter ending of season four and the quasi-snooze-fest that was season five, season six, although not as much as season fifteen of ER, managed to remind us why we started loving the show in the first place. A great ending to a great show (warts and all). Goodbye, guys, I’m gonna miss you terribly.

Dailies #43

Are you now or have you ever been a Muslim?

Wal-Mart fires employee for chasing and catching armed thief.

Alan Grayson destroys GOP congressman on Constitution. Is C-SPAN the new WWE?

Sarah Palin’s rhetoric has gotten to the point where even Fox News needs to fact-check her.

Numb3rs (S5) – Is it me or did they just phone it in this season? Bo-ring.

Swingtown (S1) – Molly Parker, Jack Davenport, Grant Show si Lana Parrilla. Povesti interesante despre trei cupluri implicate in swinging, personaje adorabil de complexe, o directie buna si o muzica fantastica (Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Deep Purple, Kiss, Paul Simon, Rolling Stones, Smokie, Three Dog Night samd) fac din aceasta serie un must-have. Damn it, acum mi-e dor de Deadwood.

Use a condom.

Sick, sad world.

System uber-fail.

– Sick, sad world 2.0.

Diablo 3 = 2011. NOOOOOOO!

Jessica Simpson finds ways to exhibit grace and class after the end of her relationship with Tony Romo. Just kidding, the bitch paid a witch to put a curse on Romo.

Once upon a lifetime ago, 6 million people with DNA, names and faces just like you and I, were butchered with gleeful sadism and mechanistic dispatch. You and I may no longer respect one another, but is it asking too much that we still respect them?

Without a Trace (S3-6) – Ziceam acum ceva vreme ca m-am apucat de el.

Bits and Pieces

Buffy’s Giles did it for librarians. C.S.I.’s Gil Grissom did it for scientists. They turned geeky into sexy, and now Charlie Eppes is doing the same for mathematicians everywhere. That’s right: In case you didn’t get the memo, math is now cool. They say so every week on Numb3rs, the TV series that has people asking the question, “How many plots can there possibility be that involve math?” Well, 37 and counting, since the series is about to begin its third season in the fall of 2006. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. It’s Numb3rs: The Complete First Season.

I just love the opening statements at DV :)

Columbo (1, 2), Prison Break (1) si Scrubs (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) sunt pe vine. Can’t wait.

In sfarsit am vazut City of Angels. Dissapointing & boring.

Omfg great. Cine stia ca ei pot face si piese d-astea? :D

Once it was see somebody, get excited, get married. Now, it’s read a lot of books, fence with a lot of four-syllable words and psychoanalyse each other until you can’t tell the difference between a petting party and a civil service exam.
